Mary O’Sullivan, is Associate Professor of Management, Wharton (University of Pennsylvania). She is a Member of the Expert Group on Knowledge for Growth to the European Commissioner for Research, Janez Potocnik, 2005-present. Her expertise is in the area of corporate governance and financial systems and she has written many articles on the subject and a book entitled Contests for Corporate Control: Corporate Governance and Economic Performance in the United States and Germany Oxford University Press (2000). She is currently working on another book, tentatively entitled Financial Systems and Economic Change, which analyses the evolving relationship between financial markets and enterprise and industrial dynamics.
